It is with a sadden heart that I must tell you that our dear sweet sweet Amanda
has gone to the rainbow bridge. She passed in our arms with many kisses on
Saturday Jan 14th at 130am.  She is the piggie that has suffered from cysts
inside her that just continued to grow and grow until she became a very large
pig. The dr  tried hormone shots, tried draining them and even
tried antibiotics.  She never lost her love for cuddles, food, or kisses during
all this.  She was the piggie that my husband went back to get from that bad
breeder when I was at work. She was used to breed over and over again just to
make babies that he would sell for snake food. She came here very pregnant with
three babies inside her. She gave us our beautiful: Biff (who is still with us
that was born with a bad front arm, a bad droopy eye, and only one male ball
that he has never grown stud tail and will always be my baby forever.),
Alana(who passed from a bad heart after being with us only a year and a half)
and Little-bit(that was born dead)   Amanda had a great spirit for life. She
came her as a pig that didnt want cuddles and would bite anyone that came near
her or tried to hold her. The breeder never held his pigs nicely just grab them
out  and always threw them back into the cage after squeezing the belly's of the
pg ones to figure out how many babies were in there.
We just couldn't give up on that little girl and she got held everyday  by Andy
and pet and cuddled.. soon in time she learned we would not hurt her and we
loved her deeply.  After many months of working with her she started coming up
to the cage and putting her face to the bars as if to kiss. So Andy soon named
her kissy girl.  As he would put his lips up to the cage as to kiss her back and
they would kiss threw the cage. It was the cutest thing ever and she did this
every time we were in the guinea room.  And after many months of taking her out
she soon became  the go to pig for Andy when he had a horrible day at work as
she would cuddle up  to his neck nice and tight and turn her little sweet face
and "kiss" him on his check!  She could put Andy at peace after only cuddling on
his neck for 10 mins! She could make him fall asleep in his chair sitting like
that. It seemed to be her favorite place as well.  And that is how she passed..
on his neck doing what she loved most... getting cuddles and giving kisses till
she couldn't anymore and  the bridge was just to strong calling her to come join
the others. We will greatly miss this gentle spirit that showed us that no
matter what living  conditions a guinea pig come from there is still love in
that little lady or fellow that is just waiting to come out  and you cant give
up on them.  I must admit, I was willing to when Andy brought her home and all
she did was bite! but andy worked with that sweet heart and he never gave up on
her and for that I know she loved him best. He had faith in her, and she trusted
him. She will be greatly missed by all that got to know her and her cage mate
Adaline.
Missing our little Kissy girl,
Jean and Andy
