Dear Ellen,
 
I'm so sorry for what you're going through, but I hope you can find peace in knowing you did everything you could for your sweet Lil Red, and are now doing the kindest hardest thing you have left to do for her.  There is so much that is out of our control and all you can give is your best effort which you have already done --- I'm so glad that Ann was there to help you decide when it was time to let go.   
 
Many if not most of us on the GPDD have been in that same place, sad but resolute, and I hope you can feel all of our arms reaching out to you now to give you strength and comfort.   Soon you will rest in peace, Lil Red, the pain will fall away and you will again sleep on your side totally relaxed in the green pastures by the Rainbow Bridge, surrounded by old friends and your mommy's love.
