Hi Anneli,

We are certainly keeping all fingers and paws crossed for Teddy's surgery to go well.

I have not yet had a boar with stones so I've never had to live through that surgery, but two of my sows have had procedures to remove stones (much less invasive because of sow anatomy), each of which went perfectly and they were back home and feeling much better within a very short time.  Any surgery is a big concern with piggies and I can imagine how worried you must be, but I'm glad that Teddy will be receiving treatment so quickly.  It sounds as if you have a vet who is skilled with piggies, so there is every chance Teddy will come through with flying colors and both of you will shortly be heaving a huge sigh of relief (along with all of us waiting out here in GPDD land)!

Sending many good wishes and positive thoughts ---

Pat S.
