I'm very sorry to hear that Teddy passed over. I also had a stone piggie. Albert, my first piggie, had a similar experience like Teddy. When they went to do the surgery the stone was in his ureter & they couldn't get to it. I gave him an herb called shilintong & some meds from the vet to raise the ph of his urine & in a week or so he passed the stone himself. He was never the same though. It really damaged his penis when he passed the stone & not too long after he began peeing pools of blood one night. We had to take him to the emergency vets & have him put to sleep. He was never the same after his surgery & while it did give us a few extra months with him, looking back I'm not sure how good his quality of life was. I don't know if I'd do the surgery again or not. We do the best we can at the time when it happens. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family at the loss of Teddy.
