[Gpdd] announcement: Gerald is a new misfit

Hello everyone and every piggie.
Well long story short.... We have a new piggie here that has joined us with the 
misfits. His name is Gerald. He came from the IA humane society. He had been 
there over a month with no one interested in him.
He is a beautiful sweet boy. The reason no one wanted to adopt him is because he 
is five years old!   Now I ask you how in the world can you have a piggie for 5 
years and not keep him!  It broke my heart to see him in that very small cage. 
He looked so sad.  Well Andy and I couldn't leave him there. His nails of course 
were horrible. 

He didn't have any hay in his cage. So Andy looked at me and I looked at him and 
we said he isn't going to live the last part of his life here.
So I took him out of that cage and we went up to the counter and said we are 
adopting him.   As you all know our girls here all start with the letter A for 
their names.. but our boys do not. And when I saw him that is the name that came 
to me. So a big welcome to our new little fellow Gerald.  He is of course in a 
different room from the misfits  waiting his quarantine time. Of course he had 
his picture taken the moment we got home for our piggie wall.  He really is a 
cute fellow and he is very social.
