Hi Jaime,

I am sending this to you as well as the Digest as I am still missing the
occasional Digest posts.

Brewer's Yeast tablets contain essential B vitamins. If I have an impacted
boar, I always give him a couple of weeks on these ( half a tab per day ).
When boars are impacted, they miss out on all the goodness in their caecal
pellets, which contain the equivalent of the Bs. If a sow's poo is not up
to standard, she could be missing out on the necessary ingredients of her
caecals too. I crush the tablet to a powder and add a little water, stir it
up and syringe it in.

You can give acidophilus, or your chosen probiotic, at any time too. Again,
this is just a supplement.
