In England Brolene eye drops or ointment can be bought at a pharmacy
without a prescription and is also available online.

I keep a bottle of Optrex with chloramphenicol in my piggy first aid kit
and there are various antibiotic eye creams available that are suitable for
piggies. At various times, I have used Tiacil, Chloramphenicol and
Fucithalmic all of which come in a little tube. Should you need a cream,
you will be able to buy it from your vet. The names are sure to be
different in the US.
