By now the Black Pearl with its growing passenger list of guinea pigs, assorted fauna and imaginary characters had traveled more than a thousand kilometers north along the Australian coast, passing from the Tasman Sea, past Brisbane, and was now far into the Coral Sea and now moored off Heron Island.
Along the way the brilliant band of pirates had launched a successful start to an “Un-Occupy the Coral Sea” movement; to help save the creatures and plant life there and to preserve it and its precious job of current control and water purification as it had since time immemorial. Peaceful demonstrations with colorful signs written in the Piggies new calligraphy had waved gaily, and local press had been good especially when the piggies did sit-down demonstrations. They were very good at this. Even Avaaz, an on-line political protest and petition network had done well with people all over the world signing on to the cause.
The day dawned bright and sunny at Heron Island but thunder heads loomed on the horizon and the breeze was fresh and humid. It would likely lead to thunder and lightning later. Sammy and Ringer were taking their turn at scrubbing the deck when the lovely sisters Velvet and Onyx danced up to them and sang together “what is that big grey piggie down there on the deck? Whee never saw a piggy that big!” Sammy looked down and saw the huge piggy and called out rather over loud, Holy Moley! What be that big grey piggy on the main deck, da one wit da hat. The big piggy turned, grabbed his hat and bowed low, “Yes Sirs, I am indeed Moley, but not Holy, I mean I make holes but I my self, in person, am not full of holes and I am not a piggy, I am a Mole! My name is Moley! I arrived by PigAir only dis morning, I came to visit my frin Algernon Rat and send off little memorial boats to help our great candle Lighting Peter Gurney Event”
