[Gpdd] [Virtual] Fair Winds and Following Sails; Chapter 10, Lizard Island HO! Let the Ceremonies Begin!

“Land Ho!” Hollered Ned from his watch in the crows nest, “It be Lizard Island and she be fair, Arrrrrrgggggh!”   The Piggies and friends danced with joy at the announcement.  Friday set a heading for the eastern or seaward side of the island so their ceremony would be private. The Pearl was a sight, scrubbed from head stem to stern, and gaily strung with all the piggies extra bikinis and trunks, intertwined with multicolored LED lights that symbolized the Rainbow Bridge. The work was done, the boxes of folded boats with their tallow candles were ready for deployment, a few piggies still worked on the last ones by lamplight as the sun set. The piggy pirates and crew rushed to the see the shadow outline of the Island, in the gloom it looked mysterious, and being sparsely populate there were few lights

Unseen the secret agents slipped the zodiacs away from the side of the ship, they had a special surprise in line.  The piggies from OZ and Beans family, Chips and Pixel along with Friday were ready to slip their first boats into the smooth waters.  Pixel’s hand slipped into the hand of a very handsome boar standing next to her. Hmmmm......AR was to be master of ceremonies and he appeared at the helm wearing a sweet little black bow tie and carried a scroll.  The little mouse Amelia and the rest of the mice and Moley flanked him; the piggies were arrayed from ever vantage point. A moment of silence and then, “Ahem!  Piggies and friends.........”
