[Gpdd] [Virtual] Chapter 13. The Sea is Lit; Fair Winds and Following Seas.

Many times over the scene was being repeated on the seaward side of the ship and soon the li’l boat lights were bobbing up and down with the gentle wave as they moved away from the Pearl in a tiny flotilla. Mimi and Hector, hand in hand at last, peeked out the port and explained the scene laid out before them to the new pirate lasses, Callie and Eve who now sported their own pirate hats. “So you may wish to sail the little boats whee made for your new momma slave’s bridge piggies” explained Hector. “Can you show us please”.  “Sure” he said as he produced the boat made for Claire’s Biscuit, It said Now Tea and Biscuit Together forever. Hector reached up to the torch and lit the candle and he and Mimi reached out and dropped the precious boat onto the swell below, OOH! The sows squealed, “How beautiful, let’s do it!  So our Momma loved Tabitha and Samantha?”  “OH yes very, she called her Tabby and Tabby just recently has gone to da Bridge. Your Lynn Slave will love you just as much.”  “Wunerful” the girls murmured and like experts they touched the lights to the torch and gently lowered the boats done in beautiful calligraphy onto the glassy water. 



Next Puff and Sammy came forward and lowered a boat marked with broad strokes on one side and narrow frilly ones on the other. It read simply “Hersey”. Sammy said quietly, “she left me her pirate sword, the one I carry to this very day.” The Beautifuls and the little ruffian Speedway and Maggie touched the boat as it passed.  AR came up and planted a kiss on Puff’s cheek, “Hiya Sweets, Whee had such fun at your house, and maybe I can come again?” Sammy leaned in, “Maybe I will come too”, he sneaked a grin at Puff.   Next came a pretty pink boat with a sprinkle of glitter with the name Pixie Sue, love from Pat!



Some of you need to get on home for your candle lighting, announced Moley as he bounced in. Don’t be late. I’m going to see Mama Joanie now. But I be back soon, she already said I could. 

“No wait”, cried Gingerpuff, “I want to send the boats for Guido and Little Miss Muffet, Little Bit, and Guido”. Batman came up and boomed “I will help with Guido”. “Ok that works, Ooh look how beautiful they are.”



Just then the zodiacs came around the stern and released their surprise; the Special Agents on Board were all carrying a sparkler to add to the beautifully lit boats.  The Coral Sea glowed in little points of light. As the first of the balloons rose into the now dark sky one piggy was heard to whisper “do you think they can see us from the space station? If so, maybe they can see us from the Rainbow Bridge!”
