[Gpdd] (Virtual) Chapter 15 Come Now the Misfits; Fair Winds and Following Seas

As the Earth continued to spin on its axis more and more little boats were launched and piggies winked up and away on their PigAir balloons for home. (Never mind the author’s difficulty with time zones). The Misfits were quite a large and every changing tribe since many were fosters and went on to forever homes also there are lots of different kinds of Misfits lots of piggies, also buns and more.  The Misfits were overseen by Captain Phil the betta fish who was placed in his bowl slung in a hammock high overhead for safety.  His mood colors were checked frequently by the boss pigs for signs the troop was contented or might have a problem. He is their very own mood ring. The Misfits are pretty much run by the A Team which is the triumvirate of the climber Athena, Ava with her big voice, and strong willed Adeline with her darling crest and multicolored brown white and tan hair. She also works with the ships IT Team. 



Plus there is the eligible young girls Anita, Adriana, and Aurora, a very shy multicolored, then Allie a sweet sweet brown girl plus Agatha the nosy daughter of Agnes and the newly adopted patchwork Ayla a real stunner. That leaves Aubrey, Agnes the shy mom, old Annie, nervous but who loves to be scratched and the Senior Ava, Finally Aphrodite an all black pig with longer hair.



The Misfit boars club is headed by the all-knowing and wise Patches, a crested 3 yr. old who is often consulted by the A Team leaders. Up and coming is Ringers the lucky in love black and white ringed boar. There’s Benny a beloved crazy hair orange guy who is head cook for the entire ship but has to wear a hair net of course. Aristotle, the happy pig actually so joyous he can look a little nutty. Then comes shy but gentlemanly and mature Ned.  Interesting is Lazarus who carries a stuffed polar bear with him who he just adores, sows need not apply. There are 2 special needs guys;  Sweet Old Biff, son of Amanda and born with neurological issues plus Sweet Charles who suffered a broken back and whose method of locomotion gives him the title Mr. Wiggles. Patches makes sure these two are accompanied at all times and kept safe and happy. 



They gathered quietly with their best friends and sweethearts for a toast to Misfits past and future, friendship and love and finished with a group hug, well almost everyone liked the hug; boars you know! The ruling triumvirate ranged the Misfits down the ports while Patches made sure the boxes of boats were distributed, then he went down to work with the special needs guys. 



Out went the little hand crafted boats, wicks lit by AR and Moley who had joined them, then let down gently with the help of secret agents in a zodiac below as the seas had risen a bit. The first boat out was a patchwork quilt design for Alexandrea, recently gone; graduate of Cavy University and in her secret life known as Agent Cleopatra.  Other mentioned Misfits were Andrea, AR’s friend Amanda, Amelia, Alana, Anastasia, Ariel, Laverne, Yettie, Trigger, and Little Bit.  Their boats were intricately made with a design added by each Misfit present and of course the name in beautiful calligraphy.  At the conclusion of their launch the all yelled out Arrrrgggg!! Mateys All!! Just then Benny’s kitchen staff came in with trays of veggie canapés and romaine wraps and offered them around. Chips set up a round of drinks and juices at a bar he had rigged from a couple of barrels and a plank. Sammy with  Puff, Pixel, Callie and Eve helped.“Serving wenches we are” the sows giggled. The hovering Captain Phil swam happily in his bowl his colors soft and pretty.  The next group of boat launchers, moved forward and the inseparable Dairmuid and Domino, Ethan and Friday came by and picked up trash. 



Oddly though the sea seemed to be turning red from below with an odd luminescence, everyone who saw it thought it very pretty and it went well with the white tea lights and the sparklers on the zodiacs.
