Dear GPPD family,

Hooray! I am soooooo happy right now, if I weren't afraid of breaking
numerous bones and running into walls and furniture, I would be popcorning
all over my house right now! I just spent close to an hour on the phone
with our amazing Ann Evans. She had a very callming effect on me just by
listening to her talk and discuss things with me. We went over Eve's
medical history and she gave me tons of advice on what should have been
done, wasn't done and what should be done to help my baby, Eve. She is
sending me a Care package of things that will help along with arming me
with info to take to the vet to get Eve on the right gtrack. She even sent
a couple of pics of a stone piggy so hubby could look at them while she
described different aspects of then to him. What totally amazes me is that
she spent all thus time with me and answerred all my questions while she is
trying to get ready for a trip to France tomorrow. What a selfless, caring
lady she is.

After we had hung up, Earl told me something that I didn't catch while I had
Ann on the phone, Apparently, she had him get Eve and look at her genital
area to see if it was swollen or irritated. It was indeed irritated so that
told her something about the situation. What he did not tell me at the time
or I did not hear him, was that there was a little brown spot right there in
her opening when he spread her apart to look at it. Whenb he did that, it
fell off and she was red under it. So, that may have been some gravel or a
small stone, perhaps.

I'll bbet my hubby never knew he would be called on to be a piggy
gynecologist! :) He was very helpful though and is on his way now to the
store to get Eve some diaper rash cream, along with some reverse osmosis
watr. I feel such a sense of relief and at least I have a resource now that
is helping me with what I trust as good piggy knowledge. Ann seems to think
that treating Eve for a 3 week run on different things, including the right
dosage and amount of SMZ, the hydrangea oil, the Rowatinex oil, the sachets,
children's liquid IB Profin and the right kind of watre. Many of these
things, along with a heat/massage pad, Ann is sending me just because she is
a kind and giving person. I am hoping we can give back a bit to her now.
Her pad was apparently chewed by a bunny in it's previous use and both cords
and the pad have damage. It just so happens ny hubby is a retired
electrical engineer and can in all likelihood, fix it. So, after we get it,
he is going to try to repair it for her and send it back. It is nothing
compared to what she has given me which is not only some different items but
a sense of relief and a stronger sense of hope for my precious Eve. I will
close for now. I have to mix up the sachet stuff and give Eve that along
with her IB Profin and her beneback until I can get the SMZ filled tomorrow.
Thanks once again to all of you for your warmth, love and caring messages
and support.

With love, hugs and whisker kisses,
Lynn, Callie and Eve with Sammy and Tabby at the bridge and in our hearts
and memories
