Jean and Andy,

What a sad story about little Winston. A little treasure that could have
brought someone such love and joy to be unwanted. It just makes me cry. How
lucky he is that you found out about him and have given him the home he
richly deserves.

I have acquired all kinds of unsuitable hutches and cages over the years
and some have been turned into more useful objects such as protective
covers for veggies in the garden to keep the rabbits at bay but my shed is
full of the remains of hutches and broken bits of cages just like yours
waiting for me to think what to do with them. A broken hutch door can be
made into a divider and a cage with a broken lid holds my collection of
Vivid Arts model piggies. A recent visitor said, "You don't usually have so
many piggies in one cage " until she realised that they were ornamental
ones.

Dear little piggy. No wonder he was scared but with your loving care he
will come to know what love is and will be so overjoyed to be a part of the
Misfit clan.

Thank you Jean and Andy for, once again, taking in a piggy in need.

I can't take in any more piggies at the moment ( unless they just turn up
on the doorstep ) as the pig room is going to be rebuilt. It is a very old
addition to the main house that was never built to the standard of the rest
and desperately needs replacing. Work should have started on this earlier
in the year but the weather has been too bad for anything to happen. It is
still snowing today. When the work commences the piggies who live there
will be moved temporarily into other rooms so I can't really have extra
pens in the bathroom ( or can I? ).

So welcome little Winston to a family who will love and care for you and
fatten you up in the way that all piggies should be. Please give him a
gentle hug when he is ready for hugs. I love those orange piggies with
lilac patches. Such an unusual colour and we have never had a Piggyfriend
who looks like that.

Thanks again Jean and Andy.

Penny and the Piggyfriends.
