[Gpdd] CARE: Water

We had been giving Brownie and Cuddles water from our Brita pitcher, but after the most recent round of sludge and stone we switched them to distilled. I haven't found reverse osmosis water yet, and I can only get distilled at one pharmacy in my town. The groceries and other pharmacies want to sell me spring water which is not the same thing. There are other stores within easy striking distance of here, so I think I should keep my eyes open when I'm out running errands and find a second source just in case.

Cuddles decided he'd like to take up to ten ml (2 teaspoons) of water at a time if we used the ten ml syringe instead of the 1 ml we had been using. He likes to sit on our chests with his head up by our shoulders and take his water there for some reason. He'll also sometimes come running to take it in his cage. He has access to a water bottle and uses it, but there is something about the syringe that is special to him.

Brownie has been taking more than 20 ml of water per lap time lately, and he's having lap time four times a day to get enough Critical Care into him. He has an ongoing major sludge issue, so I like to see him drink and flush that little bladder. He'll drink in the new Cuddles Water Position (which the vet also recommended as a way to get gravity to help the sludge move closer to the urethra, rather than just living along his belly all the time), then demand to go to their quilt immediately so he can pee. It's almost like one of those baby dolls I had as a kid that took a bottle at the mouth and the water immediately ran out the other end, LOL.

Each piggy is an individual, with his or her own rules for us, I guess.
