Well water should be tested for safety and for those minerals that case all
these piggie problems. That is especially true in this day of fracking where
well water is contaminated silently from miles away. City water is required
to meet more stringent standards. 

Seeing how often and easily piggies are affected I think we ought to give
them as much Reverse Osmosis water as possible.  If  your area is famous for
clean water just compare the yearly test results against what piggies need,
and if you are safe from fracking then you can feel ok about it, but go out
and rent the movie  "GASLANDS" and see the maps about how areas of safe
water are shrinking at an alarming rate.
