I have had many Texels and, provided you do not let their hair mat, they
are no more difficult to look after than any other type of piggy. You can
keep the hair as short as you like. A good trim all over will keep a Texel
looking smart. The coat will regrow but you can easily keep on top of that.
If the coat is short, they do not require any more brushing than a short
haired pig.

I love Texels - they look like woolly sheep - and this piggy could make a
lovely friend for Jasmine. Don't be put off by the fatty bulge. Two of mine
have this - a brother and sister - and it is nothing to worry about.
