Thank you all for the all wonderful messages about my Benito.

He was a very sweet piggy. Whenever he was nervous, he would freeze up and
look exactly like a plushy. He was also a shy piggy and would hide under a
hanging blanket unless he was okay with the situation. Although shy, he was
also brave! Last month his piggy friend Gruden von Squeakycheeks was being
picked up out of the cage and was wheeking at the top of his piggy lungs.
As soon as Benito heard the wheeking, he came running out of his pigloo to
help his friend.

One my favorite memories of Benito is when he fought to be with his friend.
When we moving to a new apartment, there had been fussing between the
piggies Edgeworth, Benito, and Gruden von Squeakycheeks. So, each had their
own cage. After Benito and Gruden settled in and realized that they
couldn't see each other that well over the sides of the cages, they went
bananas. They would stand on their hind legs and squeak at each other:

I ended up breaking down the sides of two of the cages and putting up a
grid so they could see each other better. Here Gruden is trying to pull
down the middle grids to get to Benito:

I went out to do some errands and came back to find Benito on Gruden's
side! He somehow managed to break through the middle of the grids and
squeeze through a 1" gap. Since the piggies worked so hard to be together
and weren't fighting I figured I couldn't separate them again. They were
best buddies until the end.

I greatly miss the little fuzzy but am so glad he was my piggy!
