[Gpdd] HEALTH: Cuddles is hanging in there

Thank you for the good wishes for Cuddles to recover from his stone surgery. He lost weight and has been slow to regain any of it, but his numbers have been up for the past couple of evenings and he is eating more stuff on his own. We're still giving him Critical Care at least five times a day, but we may be able to taper off a bit if he continues to improve. I saw him run and chase his brother Brownie out of a house this evening. That kind of behavior makes him look more like himself. I worried a little that Brownie wouldn't cope well with just being neighbors without daily interaction during the convalescence; it turns out that what he seems most interested in is getting to any food Cuddles hasn't already consumed. I'm informed it takes a lot of work to be a chunky monkey!

They'll both always be at risk for stones and sludge. For right now, today, they are reasonably happy boys living good piggy lives, or at least they would be if those humans would stop picking them up so often. ;-)
