Hi Julie,

I am sorry to hear you are having so much grief with your fur babies.  You really are putting your "all" into taking care of them.  It is very time consuming to syringe feed a piggy, and it does leave us exhausted.  I have also lost 9 piggies since 2007 and have 9 more still on this side with us here on earth.  I truly believe that they, and animals in general, don't hold onto life the way humans do, for they know they are only going to go into another "life" that we usually refer to as death.  I have heard a vet talk about this too. They get attached to us, because they love us, but they do not get attached to the life here, like humans do.  That's how some people see it.  I don't know if that is helpful, although everyone here I am sure supports you, dear friend. Just know that you are loved, and all I can suggest that helps me feel relief, is to tell myself that no one ever really dies, and we are all really love --that is, "the essence
 of
our being is Love" (quote by Gerald Jampolsky, author of many books, one of which is Love Is Letting Go of Fear).  In time, it will be ok. But for now, you are giving them so much love and they really know about that.

Best wishes,
Ellen, and nine precious piggies:  Kaloey, Angel, Hina'u, Fiji, Merary, Lowell, Bernie (Bernice), Petra, and Roxie, and two chinchillas:  Foogleah and ZoeyLee, and Fishy boy -a betta fish, and some guppies
