        Tears are streaming down my face as I read your description of MERRI 
slipping away, it reminds me so much of how Acorn passed away, except we had 
a litle more time with her.

        I can only say that I am truly sorry for your loss and hope that her 
memories will keep you going until its time to meet all of you friends at 
the Rainbow Bridge.

Hi Friends...
I am so so sad.

I just lost my beautiful MERRI.
It's quite a shock since I had just walked in to give my babies their 
vitamin C and some apple
pieces and all of them, including MERRI, came to the front of the cage. 
MERRI took the
vitamin and dropped it...and suddenly right before my eyes, she began to 
fade. I could see
her eyes change and her little pinkness turn pale. I picked her up and she 
went completely limp.
She was gone in minutes.
I am grateful that I had walked in at the exact moment to be with her and 
see that she quietly
slipped away, but as you all know, it's very painful.
MERRI was 6 years and 5 months and I had adopted her from The Critter 
Connection as a tiny
baby. It was love at first sight and MERRI was such an incredibly wonderful 
girl. I had so hoped
we'd celebrate her 7th birthday.
If you'd like to see her pigture, feel free to email me. She was mostly 
white with black over her
eyes and a black patch on her little butt. MERRI was a beauty inside and out 
and I will miss her
forever.
We are losing too many precious piggies lately. I hope MERRI will be the 
last angel over the
Bridge for a long, long time.
