Welcome back Royce!  Your Chipper sounds like an awesome piggy and you are
so fortunate to have a piggy who plays with you. Clearly he likes you and
loves life. He is still very young and his pigsonality is one of youth and
activity.  He is just not a lap pig.  Don't rush him, and please don't
something is lacking that he doesn't want to sit with you.   Once his youth
passes he will probably slow down a bit.  He sounds very intelligent too. He
will need lots and lots of interaction to be happy.  You may want to
consider letting him pick a cage mate if he isn't your constant companion.
