Ellen, we were hoping Sami would recover, and we are so very sorry that she passed to the other side.  We know it was a shock when you got home from work to find that she was gone.  It does sound as though she had bloat, and we hope you know you did your best for her, giving her all the right remedies before you left for work.  Sometimes gas can be so hard to treat. I don't think the kale would have made her ill; it can be very difficult to know what and how to feed piggies prone to gas (our Tumbleweed was).  You did your best for Sami, and she knew it.  She was a much loved and very lucky girl.  Please accept our very belated condolences on her passing.

We hope that Merary is doing well with the other girls.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their families.
