Dear Ellie,

Your post brought me to tears and I can so very much sense your distress.  I 
am so sorry for your loss  of Pumpkin.  I know it is a hard time, especially 
when it is so sudden like that.  It leaves you totally unprepared.  I know 
that words won't halp much now but all I have to give is my words of love, 
understanding and support.  I think we all struggle with these same issues 
every time we lose a litle one.  Their time here is so unfortunately brief. 
uch to brief for those of us who are left behind to mourn them.  All I can 
say is that we all understand your pain and the best thing you can do is 
just appreciate the 6 years you had with her and weigh that gift against the 
loss of your precious baby.  I try to look at it as while it is so painful 
to lose one, I feel like the time we did spend together was a gift to both 
of us.  I know you gave her a good home and that she knew how much you loved 
and cared about her.  May God bless you with peace and understanding so that 
you can remember your little Pumpkin with smiles and love instead of pain 
and ters.  My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
