Hi Kathy,

I am very interested in your post about using Chanca Piedra and
Cornsilk extract for stones. Could you please tell me where you bought
your extracts and the herb strength ratios such as was the corn silk
extract 1:2? Also how much did you use of each and how often did you
give it to your stone piggy?

I have used 0.2 ml hydrangea root extract with a herb strength ratio of
1:2 to remove sludge and tiny stones from the bladder and urethra of
piggys. I originally learned about it from the Cambridge Cavy trust
which recommends 0.2 ml once a day for the life of a piggy that has had
a stone removed. It is amazing to see how much sludge comes out of the
bladder of just normal piggys when they are given 0.2 ml of hydrangea
root extract. The first time they urinate after being given it they
often will expel a large amount of off white sludge that appears to look
like white cake frosting. I have used up to 0.5 ml 2-3x/day on piggys
that have a lot of sludge in their bladders and/or have a UTI. But I
would not say that hydrangea dissolves stones. That is why I am so
interested in your procedure.

Thank you, Ann and the piggys of piggyville Tampa USA
