I do not always know the ages of my piggies as they often come to me as
adults but of those whose ages I did know I can only equal Jean's Lazarus's
record of 8. This was my dear Halloween.

I did know a 10 year old. This was Amazing Maisie, who lived with my
Rodentologists. She came as a patient and stayed for the rest of her life.
She had heart problems and only survived as long as she did as they were
there on hand to administer life saving drugs asap.

They knew of a 10 year old, called Floribunda, whom they met at the CCT (
Cambridge Cavy Trust ) when they were working there.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if all piggies could all attain such an incredible
age?

Thank you for posting on such an interesting topic, Andy. Does anyone else
know of such venerable old piggies?
