Ellen, piggies, and other sweet animals, please accept our condolences 
on Petra's passing.  We are so sorry that it was unclear at first 
whether she ill or not and then she became bloated.  Please know that 
you did all your best for her in treating her bloat and trying to get 
her to eat.  We know that your being with her was a comfort, and she 
certainly knew how much you wanted her to be well. You were so right, 
too, to show her body to the other piggies.  Our piggies have always 
understood when we have done this; piggies certainly have an 
understanding of death.  It is sad that Petra, Roxie, and Bernie, the 
three girls, are all gone, but we hope it will bring you comfort to 
think of them together on the other side, happy and playing.  Petra was 
a lucky girl to be a beloved member of your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their families.
