Hi,
I have been away for 2 weeks so this answer may be too late. i would 
wait to go to the good vet. Peter Gurney said that most lumps and bumps 
were best not to be bothered with. I do not have enough info to tell you 
what type of bump it is. But if he is eating well then you have nothing 
to worry about for now. Just keep an eye on it.
