[Gpdd] RAINBOW BRIDGE: June

Dearest Dee and Joe, I am so sorry your last piggie companion, dear June, is gone to the Bridge.  It's very hard to convey the emotions on paper of empathy over shared loss although no one feels the loss of June anywhere close to you and Joe. So many of us have joined the ranks of the pigless recently it's a sad time for all on the GPDD. It's still a different experience to come into an empty house or open the fridge with impunity. Play time is very different, even computer time as Sammy, and Manny before him loved to help type letters to the GPDD. I eat fewer salads now; piggies were great for my diet and changed the way I buy and eat food. I now eat mostly organic foods as I felt that since piggies eat all the time they needed to be eating foods free of pesticides or they would suffer more so than humans, and I ate the same fresh foods as my piggies.
I am so sorry June suffered with stones. I hope this last one didn’t hurt her too much.  I hope her little spirit runs now with Peaches, Sammy and Manny, Julie's darling Treacle & gang, ME's Donnie & Dilly, Scooter, Mimi, Bertie & the Princess Snowflake, Gordon and so many Piggy Friends, and numerous Secret Agents and Pirates and all the piggies we loved so deeply and shared our lives with for so many happy years. May you heal peacefully!
