A big piggy welcome to little girl Patience.

As far as we are concerned, a piggy taken out of Petco counts as a rescue.
Little Patience has found a loving home and that is the most important
thing.

She might just be scared being on her own at such a young age, too scared
in fact to eat properly. If she were mine, I would try her with the big
pigs. A big sow might take her under her wing and mother her.

When my Tyrion came home, he was a tiny little runt, so small that he could
sit on the palm of my hand with room to spare. I put him with my gentle
giant Gandalf, who was grieving over the loss of his best friend. Gandalf
immediately took care of the little babe and within moments, they were
happily munching together.

I have done the same thing with other tinies and have never had a problem.
Why don't you try her with the big ladies when you have time to watch the
interaction?

Hope all is well when she has her vet check.

Sending her lots of love and hugs with the hope that she will soon be a
happy piglet, eating all those lovely veggies. If she came from a petshop,
she may well not know about veggies and seeing the big piggies munching may
show her what to do. I've had piggies come here who have only ever had hay
and pellets and it sometimes takes a while for them to realise what they
are missing.

Penny and the Piggyfriends.
