Hello again!  Because this is a Halloween story, some of our recently departed herd might want to visit (your call).
Their leader is Chakalaka Cavy. He was a large ruby eyed sheltie with long grey, brown, and white fur. He's the most alpha male we've ever met, so we're sure he's still bossing everyone around at the other side of the bridge. He had a very strong personality and was very vocal, saying "boop boop" all day long.

Dilly Jr. was another big boy we lost last year. He was a sweet lemon agouti and white short haired mix. He loved to be cuddled and brushed. He was a barber, so he had to live next door to Chakalaka instead of in the same pen.

Ghirardelli was our littlest girl. We called her chocolate mouse. She was very vocal, and even though she was blind, she would announce to the rest of the herd whenever someone walked into the kitchen.

Donovan was our first pig. He was an orange and white abby with dutch markings. We also lost him this year. He spent most of his last year paralyzed after a stroke.  He had such a strong will to live and determination to keep Cocoa Puff away from his food. We were so amazed that he could function so well with only one good leg. It's nice to think of him running and jumping at the bridge. Before his stroke, he was very skilled at standing up for treats and moon walking away if you dared to touch him anywhere but the white spot on his nose.

Last year, we lost Reese, our satin American short hair cinnamon agouti. Like Powder, he loved to sit on top of his pigloo.  He was very talkative, and he'd tell you all about his day if you held him on your lap. He and Donovan lived together for a while.

The year before that, we lost Puffy. Puffy was a gold and white abby-peruvian mix. He was a sweet little guy. He lived with Cocoa Puff and loved him with all his heart.

Twinkie was our second largest girl. She was a gold and white american short-hair. She lived with Ghirardelli and loved to be held, but was not especially fond of carrots.

Dillon was Donovan's brother. He was a large lemon agouti with a checkerboard nose. He and Donovan would bang their food bowls together to get out attention.

We look forward to reading your story. Happy Halloween!
