Hi Cindy,

I am glad that you are thinking of finding a friend for Eddie. Piggies
really do thrive with a best friend.

I have paired up more boars than I can count and have never had a failure.
If I have a bereaved one, there is bound to be another needing a home. I
have never cared if the new one is younger, older or the same age, the same
bonding procedure applies. It is said that it is easier to introduce a baby
boar to a big one and, if you are less experienced than I, this may be the
best way to go.

Trios can occasionally work and, although you and others have been lucky,
this does not always happen and there could be trouble if you try to
introduce Eddie to two best friends. I would not go down that route
personally as the two could reject Eddie and then you will have to look for
another new friend for him.

If you need any advice on intros please ask. I can't sit at my desk yet but
have my laptop balanced on a little table to read my Digest.

Good luck with finding Eddie a companion. Do let us know how you get on.
Hugs for Eddie.

Penny and the Piggyfriends.
