Pat and the Prairie Pigs, we are so very sorry to hear about Floyd's 
upper respiratory infection and how long it has lasted.  I don't think I 
can be of much help, but I do know that once I thought my Sunshine had a 
URI and it turned out that he was allergic to a particular hay I was 
giving him.  As soon as I changed his hay, he was fine.  I know your vet 
saw signs of infection on an X-ray, so it's probably not an allergy, but 
I wanted to suggest that as a possibility.  Also, are his teeth all 
right?  Sometimes even with the best of care, a piggie can have teeth 
that begin to overgrow and that can affect nasal passages.  These are 
just a couple of thoughts.

You are doing a great job with Floyd, and your vet sounds thorough and 
caring, too.  You and he are in our thoughts and prayers.  Please do 
keep us posted.
