[Gpdd] HEALTH: encouraging piggies to drink water

As you may remember, Eddie had bladder stone surgery in January. I've
kept a close eye and ear on him since then and have done my best to get
more water into him by feeding pellets in a pellet-and-water slurry,
which he generally likes. (He likes to eat this from a spoon, I
discovered, so he and Nugget now have a spoon dedicated for their use.)
I also, of course, feed, as I always have, veggies such as cucumber
that have a lot of water content. Eddie, however, still does not drink
much water. He will occasionally drink from his bottle, but he doesn't
seem to do it very often. Are there any ways I can encourage him?

Nugget also started drinking less water, and I flavored the water with a
bit of unsweetened apple juice, and that got him interested in the
bottle again. That has not worked with Eddie, however.

I've tried syringing water, but Eddie fights the syringe like no piggie
I've ever seen, and if he is in a "burrito," he pretty much freaks out.

Thanks for suggestions, help, and advice.

Cindy, Eddie, and Nugget
