Do not stop antibiotics if you already started them. You should finish a round of at least five days once you start, even if symptoms subside.

As for teeth problems, I've found many pigs take several days after surgery to start eating again. It could be even weeks. They also won't eat if spurs are left after surgery, so they might need to be filed or smoothed out again. Also, they won't eat if their back and front teeth aren't in sync with each other ... and inexperienced vets often take more off the incisors than necessary, so you have to wait until those are long enough to eat.

As for the water ... sounds like he might have been bored . or if he was actually drinking it all, it could be diabetes. I had a Peruvian that made pellet soup every day, but he did this the whole time I had him (I got him when he was older, so I'm not sure how long he had done it, and couldn't ask his previous owners because they moved to New Zealand ... the reason they gave him up), so I figured he just liked playing with his water. It was extremely messy, though, with his long hair, and had to change his food bowl several times a day.
