[Gpdd] Pair of pigs behavior

I have a sow and a neutered boar (who was neutered so they could live together). They lived together for about 6 months until Zipper (boy) got sick. Then Caramel wanted to sniff him and check on him and he snapped at her. Ever since that they cannot be together at all or she will attack him and bite out his fur. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help them get along again?
