M and the Piggpals, please accept our very belated condolences on 
Hubert's passing. We remember that he had bladder sludge, and we had 
very much hoped that the treatments would work. As you know, our Eddie 
just had bladder-stone surgery (and also had it three years ago), so we 
unfortunately understand how awful sludge and stones are. Your story of 
Hubert's illness on Undercover Guinea Pigs was very touching, and we are 
so sorry that he developed a blockage on New Year's Day, of all times. 
You did all your best for him, including the car ride to possibly help 
the sludge (very smart idea), and he certainly understood all of your 
care and concern. What a lucky boy to be so loved. It is good that you 
found a caring vet that day and that Hubert was able to leave this world 
safely and with dignity. Thank you for sharing his story and photos. 
What a handsome guy.
