At long last (since Mother's Day when I brought her home) Twinkle Toes, better knows as Twinky, is talking to me! She also will leave her hidey huts and come out for treats now. No, I haven't picked her up. I'm prone to dropping piggies, so I carry them in a pouch I lure them into with food and the prospect of invisibility. She is so darned cute!
Has anyone else tried the National Geographic Forage mix as a treat? Puff was crazy about it and so is Twink. It's whole foods which are supposed to mimic feeding patterns in the wild. My daughter-in-law's rabbit loves their rabbit mix. Twinky gets a small pinch of it a day and really savors it.

I'm going to officially become a grandma any day now. Here I am at 61, and little Eli will be my first! I'll let you all know when he arrives. I plan on indoctrinating him into the piggie life from a very young age--at a distance, of course!
Joanie and The Beautifuls, which includes one really cute  crested calico piggie
