[Gpdd] Announcement: My ELLIE has passed away

Hi Friends,
As you might remember, I lost my boy FIGGY in July.  His death has been the hardest piggy death I've ever experienced.I just hoped I wouldn't have another for a long time, but in September, when ELLIE was walking strangely, I took her to the vet and an x-ray showed that she had an inoperable mass in her belly.  The vet felt that we could keep her comfortable withmedication and there was no need to euthanize her at the time.  Once she was on Metacam she did great and I was so happy for us both.  But, this month I could see her belly getting larger and when she suddenly got bony, I knew I had to let her go. So, my vet helped her to The Bridge on February 27th.  She was 6 years and 2 months old.  Say a little prayer that FIGGY has welcomed my ELLIE with open paws.
