 Farewells"But mommy why can't they all stay another week?" Avalanche was chasing his slave around the kitchen, doing his best at begging to have all his friends stay longer. "Avalanche, the pigs' mommies and daddies miss them. And they miss their slaves. They already stayed a few extra days." "But mommy!" Avalanche pouted, "I want them to stay longer."  "OK let's ask your friends."Mommy slave and Avalanche went into his room where every pig was packing and snacking. "OK who wants to stay longer?" Avalanche asked. There were some mutterings and some chattering. No pig wanted to say no, but they didn't want to say yes either.  "Um, I think I spak for many of us when I say I really want to see my Ricky," Ralphy said. "We miss Stefanie." "Well, we miss Cindy." "Yeah and we miss our mummy." Every pig missed their slave, so it looked like every pig was ready to go home. "Don't misunderstand Avalanche," Binky said, "but you have had your mommy slave all week and we really miss ours."  "I understand," Avalanche said. "Here, let's get some more fruit out of the kitchen to pack your bags with for your travels." Carter, Rio, and Chino ran out behind him to start getting more snacks.By mid-morning, every pig was packed and ready to go. A large shuttle bus came to pick up every pig to bring them to the airport. There were lots of wheeks, whistles, and a few rumbles during goodbyes. Several pulled out their cell phones for selfies to show their slaves when they arrived home. Avalanche looked out the window when the last pig boarded the shuttle, waving goodbye from his slave's arms. Then he snuggled in for a nap.
