Kaye,

We are so sorry to hear about Bailey's eye and are hoping it might be
something very simple and not what happened to my Rocky.

Rocky's eye became cloudy because his eyelids could no longer cover
the bulging eye. The cause of the bulge was that some sort of absess or
tumor, perhaps from his teeth, had developed and then grown behind his
eye. Diagnosis was osseous metaplasia. When you look it up online, use
the word guinea pig along with the disease name.

Rocky was given antibiotic, metacam and an eye gel to keep the eye
moist. This palliative care kept him alive for 9 months, during which
we loved him everyday. He was 4 months short of being 6.

I'm sorry to bring possibly troublesome news. For me, it's hard to say
whether knowing or not-knowing is worse...

Sending our best wishes to Bailey,
Monica, Cirrus and Bapka
