[Gpdd] Care: Guinea pigs with a memory

Hi Cindy and others.

Our Cookie has a good memory too! Every evening (and morning) she gets her
painkiller because of her sagged back (called saddleback I am told). More
often than not, around the time she usually gets it in the evening, she
will try to get my attention by staring and making some noises. It has
happened multiple times she reminded me about getting her medicine, and I
had not thought about it yet.

What she also did last week is when I was filling their hay rack, is run to
the hay ball to wait for me to fill it. I saw her do that and thought: wow,
you are right Cookie, I always fill the hay ball after filling the hay rack!

Please keep our Binky in your thoughts, yesterday he peed blood, or at
least it was bright red! I hope he 'just' has cystitis, and nothing worse
like a stone or something else far less treatable than cystitis... We are
going to the vet in the early evening today. Apart from loosing weight, and
of course not being comfortable when peeing, Binky seems to be doing well,
he eats, is active, comes for veggies and drinks water (maybe a little more
than usual though).

Wheeks,
guinygirlz Cookie and Linn
and boar Binky
and slave Mieke
