Hi Cindy,

We would always hide pieces of veg for Cookie and Linn. They
really seem(ed) to like and need that challenge of finding all the veggies.
We even noticed they had different search strategies. One would work her
way around the cage systematically, the other would check the usual places
where we hid veggies.

Just the other day we hid some veggies for Linn again, she still can do it
and likes it. Stevie is a bit less adventurous, but he's learning and we
got him to have a look at the 'ball game' and get some cucumber from it as
well. They both have cataracts and don't see well, so not having a Cookie
who would see veggies being hid slows them down a bit. But I do like they
still can do this, and Stevie is getting less scared and joining in.
Piggies are more intelligent then most of us give them credit for!!

This is the ball game I mentioned, the Balliro, it's on this page:
https://www.beeztees.nl/product/beeztees-braingame-ballira-knaagdier-hout-mint-30x15x7cm/
Unfortunately they do not have an english translation for this page (I
looked as they do have a English version of the website:
https://www.beeztees.com/rodent-collection/)
But I think you can all understand the idea of this game. Linn learned it
when she did not have cataracts yet and was very good and quick at it, als
she still is! I am glad he can work it out even with his poor vision.
(hope this works for everyone here it is a video of Cookie and Linn
emptying the balliro game:

Thank you, by the way, to everyone who replied to my message about losing
our Cookie. I appreciate all your messages!

Grtz,
Mieke and piggies Linn and Stevie
