[Gpdd] [CARE] Vit C supplement & hay

Wheeks! to all,  Beethoven here!  My slave feeds me this really yummy oral
ascorbic acid solution from a tiny syringe.  I try my darndest to pull the
syringe out of her hand, but she won't let me take it in my house.  Mmmmm!
that stuff is so good!

Hello from Jenni, slave to Beethoven.  With my first 2 piggys, I put vit. C
in the water.  But now with Beethoven, I just feed it to him, well, as he
described.  I like it this way better, so I know his water stays nice and
fresh.  And he loves the flavor.  The brand is: by Rugby (people brand)
Ascorbic Acid Solution.  It has a very orangy scent ( I haven't tasted it!).
So far so good...Beethoven's around 6 yrs. old and doing great. Whew!

As for Timothy Hay...he definitely prefers it over pellets!  For the last 5
years, he ate alfalfa hay, until I joined the digest and found out about the
calcium issue--ack!  Now it's Timothy hay only, but the same pellets, Kaytee
premium, that I've used for all my piggys.  Always looking for new ideas...
