I have never filled to the tip top as is suggested here and mine work fine.
The biggest, most important thing is to use at least 2 bottles per cage and
to test them by gently taping the tube/ball to make sure the water will come
out this way as soon as it is hung in the cage.  Also if you have more than
I person caring for your pigz  each of you should make an effort to speak to
the other if you come across a bottle that is either unexpectedly full or
empty. I have learned the hard way and it has resulted in unwitting and
unnecessary piggy death.
