[Gpdd] (Health) Dry skin?

Hi All,
  I was giving my female piggy a thorough petting this afternoon and came
across some hard bumps on the top of her head by her neck. After a close
investigation it seemed to be simply a dry patch of skin, but when I went to
remove it, all the hair that was connected to that "dry bump" came off
also!! Should I be concerned??
