Hi!  One of my first graders wrote a letter to our guinea pig, Lady,
today.  I'm not editing his spelling or anything.  
 
"Dere Lady.  Pece don't be a frad.  We don't hrt guinea pigs.  We love
them.  And thr spishll.  We love you.

To Lady"
 
Isn't that sweet!  He wrote a heart next to the word love, both times. 
This is a student who usually dislikes writing, so this was a neat thing
for him to do.  Lady is really getting used to the kids...it's a lot of
fun.
