Your Brownie Bear is too funny! Is she trying out for
the Planet's Funniest Animals or something?
I, too, have a flying pig. Oscar seems to be very
uncoordinated...one day I came to feed them, and they
were all hanging out of their cages, as usual (I keep
the cage doors open; they get annoyed when I close the
doors, because they feel like they can't see out).
Anyway, I got over to Oscar's cage and he's hanging
over the side with both front feet--all the other pigs
are just propped up in the doorways. Then I notice him
start to scrabble with his feet and try to climb up in
the doorway, like he's starving (mind you, all my pigs
are anything BUT starving...) next thing I know, he
starts to tumble out of the doorway! I dropped the bag
of baby greens and reached out to catch him...I'm
normally a klutz, but he fell right into my hands. It
was so weird, though--it seemed to happen in slow
motion, and I swear I saw him go end over end before I
caught him! But he landed safe and sound, none the
worse for wear, and agitated that his meal was
delayed! Silly pig!
