Gentian violet works great on any kind of fungal infections, and it is less than 2 bucks at wal-mart. However, it does stain the treated area a bright purple for a few days, but it is harmless and is actually kind of pretty!!! Women use it on their nipples when breastfeeding to treat thrush. I have used it for ringworm on pets, and humans. Works great. They sell it next to the iodine in the pharmacy of wal-mart. Hope this helps!
