Hi Jussy,
Is it possible to set up a little play area for them? Maybe you could get some chicken wire and build a little fence where they would have more room to run around during the day. Of course, if it was outside or didn't have a cover, you'd have to supervise.
I've also seen built-in runs that are meant as additions to traditional outdoor cages, and are completely covered but offer some more space for them to move. Is it possible you could add onto their cage? Hmm...
Just some ideas!
