Hi Everyone,

Just to add to the postings on neutering boars to avoid impaction. Not every 
elderly boar suffers from impaction. Neutered and unneutered boars can suffer 
in this way.  While some piggies cope very well with the after effects of 
surgery, some others require nursing and more specialised care to help them 
recover. I have had boars who suffer from impaction and I would rather spend a 
little time each day cleaning them  then neuter them, Sometimes it can be an 
unpleasant task but they give me so much pleasure I'm happy to do it for them.
